Detail View error 651860

In the Drafting application, I am trying to create a detail view. The dialog opens, but when I try to create the view I get the error message:

"An attempt was made to associate an object with a second other object."

After some investigation, it seems this was a bug, identified under error code 651860, that was fixed in some earlier release.

I am currently running NX v5.0.0.25

Another peculiar effect is that after the error automatically resolves, the views are immovable until restarting the drawing application (switching to modeling, then back to drawing).

Can anyone please help me understand how to solve this? Thank you very much!

PR 651860 is a 12 year old PR which was reported to have been fixed in UG V15.0. If you're now running NX 5.0.0.25, I would first at least update to the latest NX 5.0 MR and test it again. If the problem still is being seen, I would contact GTAC and have them open an IR to at least verify that there is a problem and to see if it has been fixed in a more recent release. If not, have them open a NEW PR as I can assure you that whatever was fixed 12 years ago has probably been changed since then so I would NOT assume that that this old PR actually was supposed to have fixed what actually I'm seeing today.
