Hi All

I am now facing a problem , in determining the dimensions of an offset crank slider mechanism , that is installed on a machine , so I don't have access to all the mechanism, as you see in this image
The red line is the machine body , and the green line is the reference line that I measure the displacement of the slider from this line, the maximum and minimum displacement can be on both sides of the line. I need to know all the bars dimensions , that I don't have , the only thing I can have is the angle of the rotating bar (a1) , and at each angle , the corresponding displacement, e.g. for the maximum , minimum and 90 ' angle.

Having only these informaiton , I could calculate the lengths for a non offset mechanism, but if there is the offset, one more unknown will enter

If it is possible to do this in ADAMS it will be much better.
