Dear All,

I am involved in a produced water disposal project, where we are transporting the facility produced water to a satellite water injection platform. Concerns where raised on the type of piping material to be used within the facility to the departing pipeline and whether to consider NACE material or not. Currently, the trace of H2S in the system is less than 10 PPM. The maximum H2S forecast concentration from the facility is 800 PPM.

Please, I need how to determine the H2S threshold in order to recommend NACE material or not?

I am what I am by His grace

NACE is just an organization, not a material. Most likely you intend to select materials for sour service. In that case the Oil & Gas industry dictates that materials shall be selected per ISO 15156 (3 parts in total). Search this form on sour service or H2S or ISO 15156.
