Determining Transportation Needs

Can anyone give me some advice on determining the necessary number of delivery trucks I would need to deliver a product at certain intervals to a pre-determind location ? I've been trying to figure out how to put together a spreadsheet that would allow me to input the various variables but I'm not having much luck.
