Dezincification resistance of free cutting brass

Is there a relationship between the dezincification resistance of C36000 (acidified salt spray environment) grade brass and its lead content? During my literature search, I have noticed conflicting opinions.
On a related issue, my understanding is that the corrosion resistance of this grade of brass can be improved if the volume fraction of the beta phase is reduced. Is there a way I can do it...perhaps a heat treatment that would increase the dezincification resistance?

The only way to reduce beta phase would be to reduce the content of zinc, aluminum, tin, silicon. Adding arsenic is supposed to help increase DZR.
 
@btrublood - thanks for the reply.

1. Added Arsenic is a great idea. Would the material still meet the C360 spec?

2. From some literature review, it seems that using a slow cool from an annealing temperature can result in lower beta phase content. Has anyone perhaps tried it?
