Hey Guys,
I'm doing a design of a diaphragm wall. And for the concrete design part, the diaphragm wall is design as a beam or a slab or can it be designed as any of these i.e. as a slab and also as a beam?

Why would you consider a diaphragm wall to be a beam rather than a slab? It is wide and not relatively thick, so to me that is a slab. As code slab provisions are normally less conservative than beam provisions, I would design it as a slab.
