Diesel Engne Exhaust Piping

Hi,

does anyone knows what is the material for marine diesel engine exhaust gas piping? I am talking about large ship diesel engines mainly 2-stroke slow speed and 4 stroke medium speed engines.

Hello everybody:

For our medium speed, four strokes Diesel engines, the exhaust gas pipe is made out of Carbon steel RSt 37-2, DIN EN 10025 (S235 JRG2), AISI/SAE A 570 G36.
