Difference between 900 RTJ and 1500RTJ for same gasket size

Can we use 900 RTJ gasket on 1500 rating flange of same sizes. Is there any difference between construction of 900 and 1500 rating RTJ gasket.

Up through 2" size, CL900 and CL1500 RF or RTJ flanges are identical.
Above 2" size, they are different.

Sizes NPS 1/2 through 2-1/2 are same as Class 1500 flanges.
1- 1/4 in. raised face not included in dimensions T, L and L2.
2- Bolt hole diameter 1/8 in. larger than bolt diameter.

Pipe and valve flange standards are ASME B16.5 and API 6A. If you are specifying flanges you should have both of these in your library.
