difference between FEED and FEL

What is the difference between front end engineering design and Front End loading. Literature available on internet mentions FEL as 1, 2, 3 and so on. If someone has worked on both FEED as well as FEL, please guide.

FEL-1 covers not only the engineering part but other project areas such as the business case, economics, shareholder management, environmental issues etc.
