Hi,
I would like to know if both geometric and finite element analysis are available in pro/mechanica wildfire and if so, what are the advantages of each ?
I guess that in the geometric element mode the convergence of the mesh is integrated and automated but may not be as accurate as a good finite element mesh that would have been refined several times and otpimized.
Moreover, does anybody know where I can find informations about geometric element methods ?
Thanks a lot in advance and excuse my french...

The geomtric or p-element meshing is faster for me since there is no application hopping each time you remesh and need to export mesh to a different package to run. I mostly use it for optimzation and find it accurate for relative comparative analysis.
