Difference between shell99 and solid46

Hi
I don’t why I have different results when I’m using different finite elements (shell99 and solid46). I put the same loads(omega=1000). Could you help me !!!

I haven't run your models, but I assume that the model using solid46 has a stiffer response? All other things being equal, I suspect the reason for different answers is because of mesh density. Make sure you have at least three elements through thickness in the case of the solid46 model and a representative number (at least the same as the shell model) cross-width, and then re-compare.
