Because of hardware upgrades I recently reinstalled Autocad 14 program. Reconfigured all the tools and things the way there were before, except one. Before reinstalling, I was able to select a leader, pull it around the dwg, set it and on the command line the letters DIM: showed up. I could then type text on one line hit enter and it would set up the leader with that text. The leader was not associative, meaning the arrow, line and text were seperate. It came in handy for some operations, need it back! Does someone know what I am talking about? It was a simple command, but can't remember what it was!

I believe you can type "Dim" then "leader" to get what you want. I like to use associative leaders....

Hey:

A thousand thanks for your help! For certain detail drawings this particular leader comes in most handy. Similar to that wrench only used once every three years, when you need it in a hurry and its not there, lookout!

Thanks again for your help!

Not sure if this is a function of the bonus tools bars or not but have you tried "QLEADER"?
.
Just a thought ... [roll1]
