Hello everyone,

I am doing a very simple model, a center fixed disk subjected to a concentrated edge load. However, I found out that even I change the material properties, the results will be the same. So I am really confused about this. Do you have any idea about how this happens? Thank you very much!

Just as in the case of a beam under the load, the stress is My/I, ie. independent of the material property. What you might find is that the displacement changes.
