Differential displacement control in Abaqus

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to do a displacement control analysis based on a differential displacement between two nodes? I mean I want to apply the displacement in a reference point until the differential displacement of two other nodes reaches a certain amount. I appreciate your help in advance.

For this, you will need a subroutine that can use the solution-dependent state variable to control the amplitude assigned to the displacement boundary condition. UAMP should work fine in such case.
