Had a question a few months ago on this subject and you guys pointed me in the right direction (dumb Structural here)and Thank You.

While cheap and appear easy to use for toys, dolls, greeting cards, etc they seem to be limited to about 270 seconds of record time.

I am looking for something in the 10,000 second range (3 hours+/-) - like a small book!!

Any ideas??

It's getting hard to find a 'pocket tape recorder' that actually uses tape.

Or did you actually want a chip-level solution?

geekEE,

Nice find, it's cheaper than what's on eBay

I did find that but it would need about 90 megs of memory - I think price would go out the door!!

But thanks!!

Okay, 90Mb is about 2 percent of a 4Gb SD card that goes for <$5 these days.
What price point are you trying to reach?

How many are you going to build? If you are buying in quantity, you should be able to negotiate a better price for the board and SD cards.
