Hello

Are alloys like 304 / 304L suitable with dilute ammonia / ammonium sulfate solutions, at pH 9 and at 40-80°C temperature range. It's for a heat exchanger.
Concentration will be low (<0.5 gram/liter NH3/NH4+)
other species present SO4--, Na+
Chlorides: less than 0.2 gm/liter

Mostly safe, but with a couple of details
1. If you allow flow to stop and the unit does not remain completely full then the surfaces that dry will probably pit.
2. 200ppm is a lot of chloride for 304. As long as the pH is high you should be OK, but this is pushing the limits.
