I've seen this before but I'd like to know what is wrong and if there is a way to resolve this. And I searched the faq's and did not find an answer. My problem is that I installed a louver on a sheet metal door and then attempted to pattern the form. However in order to pattern the form I have to be able to select the dimensions. This is where the problem occurs. The dimensions do not show up. In fact even if I try to edit the form the dimensions don't show up. The only way I can get to the constraining dimentions is to show up is to do "Edit Definition". But I can't get the dims to show up so they are selectable when trying to edit them or when I need to select them to pattern the feature. I hope I've described this well enough to understand, but I'd ask, "has anyone else seen this?" and does anyone know why the dims won't show up?

I don't know what the problem is, but there is a work around for your problem.

You can pattern by direction, instead of dimension, and you can use the dimension name (eg d0) to ensure that it patterns correctly.

Very good, thanks. I can use that method to pattern in one direction using the dimension name (eg d0). However, can I use that method if I want to pattern in two directions? Not only do I want a number of patterned features vertically, but I need them patterned horizontally as well? By patterning by dimension, will I be able to select the second direction by dimension?
