Dimension from an apparent intersection?

I have essentially a keyway cut in a shaft. We then radius the corners where the slot meets the OD of the shaft. I need to be able to place a reference dimension for the slot depth from that sharp corner that no longer exists in an end view. The intersection point detection won't pick it up, and any lines I draw won't stay constrained to the actual geometry. So, if I change the shaft OD in the model the reference dimension doesn't update.

Can anyone help me here please?

thanks!

In the solid model, put a point on the sharp corner prior to putting on the radius. In the drawing, show 3D points, then use the point for the dim. If you change the shaft dia, the point moves, and the drawing updates to the new position.

Thanks, but that didn't quite work. Catia complained that it lost reference when I radiused the corner. Unless I did something wrong.

What did work was to sketch a point using construction lines after the radius was created, and showing 3D points in the drawing.
