dimensioning threads and other features

In NX 7.5, for dimensioning threads, I used to go the following:

Insert\Dimension\Feature parameters... then select the thread feature, then select the view and it created a thread annotation for me. Actually I don't even like the way this works. Nevertheless, it doesn't seem to be working for me in NX8.0. has something changed. Is there a better way of doing this?

It appears to working exactly the same in NX 7.5.5.4 and NX 8.0.3.4 (and for that matter, NX 8.5.1.3 as well).
