Hi there,
As a native solidworks user I am using ACAD 2002 to do some layout drawings as SW tends to be clumsy for what I am trying to do.
I basically have the layout defined but as always I need to make an adjustment to some key dimensions on a plan view which in turn need to be applied to an elevation.
If you can picture the plan and a side elevation of a large ship, I am defining a rectangular area (hatched) on the side of the ship. For various reasons I need to work with the Plan view and hence have defined the position vertical lines of the rectangle in the plan. I need to create multiple positions/size of this rectangle. Is there a way I can link the rectangle sides in Elevation to the Plan sketch. Also is there a way to easily adjust position of the rectangle by using a dimension or something.
Hopefully I have described explicitly enough what I am trying to do
Thanks in Advance
Dave
