Hi guys! Need some expert advise.

We are doing this project and our specs call for ANSI flanges site-wide.

The incoming water has DIN standard flanges. Besides the units (English vs Metric) as a major difference, what is the difference physically...can DIN and ANSI flanges mate perfectly???

Thanks!

Since the Codes have been changed through the years, it's better to get the actual dimensions the DIN flange on the water pipe and compare it with the ANSI (or now is called ASME) flange to see if they are the same or not. Or, you may get a spare ANSI flange piece on hand in case there is a dimension issue of the mating flanges.
