How can I test a diode while it is still in a circuit without removing it completely from the circuit?

Depends on what parameters you want to test and what it is function in the circuit

Please refrain from multiple posting

Is that a connector to the right of the diodes? At least 4 of the diodes appear to be connected to the connector, if that's what it is.

Yes all diodes are connected to the connector of GCU, so do you mean that disassembly of GCU is not needed for testing diodes?

No, I simply meant that disconnecting the connector would isolate a large number of the diodes.

You have the ability to test the diodes through the connector. You can test two by probing pins 41 and 49 or 41 and 36. You can test one probing 41 to ground. 3 are testable between 41 and 13. One can be tested between 34 and 10. The diodes adjacent inv delay, PR, and UV will have to be tested on the board itself. This can be done if the board isn't potted. Most multimeters have a diode check function.
