Hi All,

Is there a config.pro setting that will disable the assembly cut function?

Is there a config.pro setting to disable the assembly create a part in the assembly mode?

Hi Heckler,

Thanks, I was already in that site.

In Wildfire 2 you can limit feature creation in assemblies using Tools > Assembly Settings > Reference Control
This gives the External Referece Control settings, and if you set each tab to the bottom settings i.e. objects to None, geometry to Published Geom only etc. this effectively prevents assembly feature creation, because you can't select any references. There are config settings which control this also under ref_scope comp_scope etc, but I'm not sure what they are.

Hope this helps

Hi John,

Thank you I found it. default_geom_scope set to "pg_only" and the help of web site mentioned above.

Thanks to both of you.
