Discontinued Goulds Pump Curves

Anyone out there have a link to a site with curves for discontinued pumps, specifically Goulds? I've been all over goulds.com and gouldspumps.com and sent them emails and gotten help but not exactly what I need. The best I've gotten is a model number (4ND12N3DD. Not certain about the last 6 digits, but the 4ND is definitely an obsolete model number) and a faxed copy of a O&M sheet curve. I've been able to find repair manuals and parts lists for it, but not the curves. I'm modifying the force main and need to make sure we're still in the operating range

If you have a flow meter, pressure gauge and an ammeter you could draw the curves yourself by throttling the flow with a valve. The limit would be on the high flow / low pressure end.

Alternatively you could compare the calculated new pressure in the force main, and compare this to the current head, if the change is low as a percentage of the current working head you could say that typically this should have little effect on the operating envelope of the pump.


I would keep on at Goulds, they must have something somewhere.
