Displacement boundary condition problem

Hello friends,

I am working on a single lap joint with an adhesive bond. I've given a displacement boundary condition instead of a force at the ends of the joint to calculate the stresses occurring at the joint. I want to know what force would cause the same displacement at the ends of the joint (that i have specified). Should i tick the nodal forces occurring due to element stresses in the field output menu, but i doubt if that's correct. Is there any other way of knowing the force at the ends ??

Also i wanted to know what does CSQUADSCRT mean and i dont get any result even if i tick the CSQUADSCRT in the field output-before submitting the job.

Thanks in advance

How are you restraining the other end? Can't you just collect the reaction forces?

The other way is to use the freebody tool. You would select the nodes and elements at a given cross section and use the interface option.
