Good morning,
I am doing a bending test on a beam. The beam is loaded with six concentrated loads spaced along the beam. Since the goal is to calculate the ultimate load, the simulation is in displacement control. The displacements of the six load points are made to increase proportionally that the deformation that develops is the same but only amplified as the displacements increase. I ask you if there is in abaqus the possibility of telling the program that the force that arises in those six points due to the displacement is equal in the six points. The force must be constant, if in my model I evaluate RF that develops in the 6 points they are very different

Thank you

No, there is no direct way to do it. I think this is kind of an optimization problem to get what you want. So changing the disp-BC to get specific reaction forces.

You could use Isight to create such an optimization with the Abaqus analysis.

Or, but more complicated, you check if a UAMP or UDISP subroutine can be used to iterate on the disp-BC until a certain result is achieved. Maybe you can use the UAMP to apply the disp in small increments at each node and when a certain reaction force is reached the value is kept constant or reduce slightly at that node.
