I am using IDeas NX 10 m3 version with ATI Radeon 9600 graphic card, i have the following problem: when I try to create wireframe curve like circle or line I can not see "Sketch line" when I am creating the curve but I can see the finished line.

I had a similar problem until I set my computer display start/settings/control panel/display settings) to the following:

true color 32 bit
1280X1024 pixels
Nvidia Quarda2 graphics card

You might also check the display filter settings 7th icon down on the right side in master modeler to make sure the wireframe toggle switches are on.

I have already tried this solution but it was not work out. I tried to change graphic card to ATI 9200. it is not work out too.

I have the same problem with radeon 9600 pro. Please tell me how did you solve that problem.

i have this problem with a radeon mobility 9600.

I cannot download the drivers from ATI.com as it requires the manufacturers drivers (from ASUS.com).
I have the latest ASUS drivers installed - driver version 6.14.10.6404.

Is there a fix for this either from EDS or from ATI?

I have the same problem with my Gatewy laptop.
It has Radeon mobility 9600
I downloaded the latest drivers from to my
C:\ATI\SUPPORT\wxp-w2k-catalyst-8-00-040322a-014266c
But It gave me a warning:
"Setup was unable to find components that can be installed on your current hardware or software configuration. Please make sure you have the required hardware or software"
How did you install yours?
thank you

I have found a solution for this problem.

The latest ATI drivers DO work, it's just a matter of getting them on your system.

The driver version you need is: 6.14.10.6436
Even 6.14.10.6430 does not work - it must be this version which is the latest.

I got it to work by downloading the driver only from the "dial up" download section of the 9600 drivers.
Then you need to go into device manager and update the driver for the video card manually.
When selecting driver go to "Have Disk" and browse to wherever the downloaded file was extracted to on your hard drive.

Technically this is not the correct driver as it is not specific to the mobility radeon in my ASUS and i had to select a 128mb card driver even though mine is only 64.
However, it works, and i'm happy )

Hope this helps you others out.

Hey I did the same thing you did and mine works too. Thank you for your help.
I have two questions. I did not see an option for 128 mb ram.I just picked one of "Radeon 9600 series" and there were several "Radeon 9600 series" . How could you tell it was 128 mb ram? Mine is 128 mb ram anyway. The other question I have is: There were two files with "inf" extension and I just picked the first one. Should I add the second file with "inf" extension? I used the "DSL/CABLE" option even though I have "dial up" and it downloaded it.
thank you

I have downloaded the newest driver from ATI and it works for both 9600pro and 9200. Thank you all guys..>_<

There is a newer update available on the ATI web site now. It is 6.14.10.6444. It works great.
