I am currently trying to calibrate an oxygen monitor using a curve produced by plotting the points between an anoxic solution of sodium sulphite (using resazurin as an indicator) and air saturated water. My problem is that while it is easy to define the anoxic solution at zero the O2 level in the air saturated bottle is much harder to accurately describe.
My question is: what is the O2 level in shaken purified water at 20 degrees C at sea level? Can someone point me to a table that takes into account air pressure, temperature and any other factors affecting the solubility of oxygen in water?
