Is there a formula to figure out the center to center distance of lines of text in a note? I am working on a journal(vb) to place symbols along the side of a note containing multiple items.

Example:
3.500 = Text Height
1.000 = Line Spacing
<magic involving font selected goes here>
5.257 = actual measured distance from similar points on letter on different lines

I think you can assume that it's supposed to be a factor of 1.5.
