I'm looking for resources on pipe material, class, etc. for the collection and distribution of potable water, storm water, and sewer. I took a new job not so long ago and because I have more of a background in transportation I'm a little inexperienced in site development - hence this post. As I'm getting more involved with the design of distribution and collection systems and their specifications, I'm getting more confused with the different types, materials, classes, etc. of distribution and collection pipes. I would like to find a webinar to outline common practices and applications for the various types of pipe materials, performance classes, etc. (e.g. PVC vs. HDPE, schedule vs. dimension ratio, etc.) since the more questions I ask, the more interest there seems to be in a lunch & learn of this sort. Ideally the webinar would be free and if nothing else, I could do it on my own time if I can't put a L&L together. I'll bet some of the larger pipe companies have something I could download that is exactly what I'm looking for - I'm hoping someone on the forum can direct me to it.

Thanks.

Most of what I've found from industry websites is performance specs - not quite what I am looking for.

Thanks for the link. I will take a look.
