Dears;
in reference to API 650, edition 13;
(1) DLS (shell dead load) defined as nominal (Shell + Any Framing (but not Roof Plates) supported by Shell & Roof) Weights; so I kept DLS as =
Nominal (Shell + (Roof Framing/Structure + C. Angle + W.G + Insulation + Ladder + Nozzles + Rafter/Purlins)) Weights.
My question; is it correct to include Rafter/Purlins weight to DLS as long as assumed its attached to the Roof?
(2) DLR (Roof Dead Load) defined as nominal Roof Plate + Any Attached Structural) Weights;
= Nominal (Roof + (Roof Framing/Structure + C. Angle or Top W.G + Roof Insulation + Roof Nozzles + Rafters/Purlins) Weights.
My question; is it correct to include C. Angle or Top W.G (as applied) as part of the attached roof structure where its shared component between roof/shell?
