DO-160F Crash Safety, Apply Landing Gear Pin Load to Uplock?

DO-160F, Sect 7.3 says - During the impulse tests...an equivalent weight may be substituted for electrical-mechanical components normally mounted within or on the equipment case.

My question is - Would the landing gear pin load on the uplock need to be considered or should you just apply the 20g shock to unloaded uplock?

I fear that you are using the wrong document here.
DO-160 is meant for electrical or electro-mechanical equipment mounted inside aircraft, meaning radios, receivers, amplifiers, inverters and such.

You seem to be asking about a dynamic load on a part of the landing gear. You will not learn about the loads on that part from DO-160.

Wrong doc? Hardly. What test spec do you think is used for Salt Fog testing of landing gear or cold temp testing for a flap actuator? Virtually everything that moves on an aircraft has some sort of electrical sensor to tell of it's position. This is no different.

I don't want to learn about the loads on the part. The crash safety test is to see if something attached to the aircraft can come loose. Without the load I'm sure it would stay attached as it only weighs a few pounds.
