I'm trying to source a do motor to run an ACME lead screw at relatively high speeds with location control via a Hall effect sensor over the lead screw threads minutes by the controller . Requirements are 2.5 n*m at stall and 2 n*m at 800-1000rpm. Ideal power source is DC 12-36v. It's going into a office appliance environment.

Searching has ruled out dc servo motors and my hunt has pushed me to DC gear motors. I'm having a hard time finding a gear motor to put out that torque and rpm. It's either too high an rpm and low torque or high torque very low rpm.

I've dug through digi key and can't refund anything in the sweet spot. I've also been running through alibaba in hopes of finding a Chinese supplier to get a good understanding of my BOM costs.

I've got a feeling I'm just not searching for the right thing having not sourced motors before. Maybe I'm assessing my requirements wrong and need to change my approach. Perhaps it can be done AC? Service time requirements are very low with intermittent usage accountin for maybe 10 minutes per day.
