Hello,

We are a Moroccan company specialized in boiler works and we have a problem regarding PQR, in a project we supposed to work (maintenance: replacing superheater) in boiler located in Guadeloupe which is a French territory. the boiler was made according the ASME code, we submitted our PQR according to ASME to the client but he rejected it he said that they wasn't made by a notified body (because the boiler is located in a French territory, as a consequence we have to make ASME PQR by a notified body). Now I’m thinking if we have the possibility to transform EN ISO PQR (made with a notified body) to ASME PQR knowing that we have all needed PQR.

You won’t succeed in transforming a PQR from EN ISO 15614 yo ASME IX. Too many obstacles.
Out of curiosity, does Guadeloupe fall under the PED 2014/68/EU? If I understand your situation, the nobo-requirement is due to CE-marking, correct?

It is possible given the right steps were made at the beginning and now, but talk to your notified body representative. They may or may not be willing to entertain the request. If not, it's no point in going further.

CWEng is correct, but that would be a very, very coincidental, fortunate course of various actions.
Cant think of any reason why someone would perform more tests on a weld coupon when only 1 standard is asked for. Let alone if the material has the right certification.
