Hello my name is Greg,
I have an electrical question.
What is the minimum recommended amperage to be supplied to a 600sf, 3 room, single bedroom apartment per code? is there a difference in remodelled and existing amperage requirements. How many amp service should be supplied to satisfy the electric code? Oh,and who's code do you like and maybe why if you would be so kind.
Gracias,
Greg

If you are in the USA and in places where NEC apply, there are straight forward calculations methods.

In the USA:
( I dont have NEC code in my had at this moment)

If it is a stand alone service, I beleive minimum service size now-a-days is 100A, 208/120 or 240/120V, single phase, 3 wire.

It used to be 60A. It has more to do with minimum meter size the utility co. will provide and charge for.
