This is an unusual question: from sometime now, I'M having difficulties with Doble and the DTA module.
When entering some values (KVA rating, Voltages, Test kV, etc), I can't use commas, or dots to specify decimals.

Example: I have a 13,2 kV primary voltage, but I cannot enter 13,2 or 13.2 in the specific cell.
Or, my secondary voltage is 600 V and I can't write 0,6 in the TEST kV cell (Overall Tests).

Any tips or work-around for that? Anybody ever had this issue maybe with another software??

My laptop is a HP, Windows 10 a very generic machine.

Thanks

Have you tried 13200 V ?

Not just a good idea;
It's the LAW!

I tested several CCVT's about 2 weeks ago and don't recall having any problems (other than 2/6 of the top capacitor units having measured PF 10x nameplate). What version are you using? I think I'm using a version 7.x.x. I'm assuming you have ruled out that your keyboard isn't flaky using some other program. If you are a client, I'd recommend contacting them. This wouldn't be the first time someone has pulled all their hair out only to find a new version fixed the bug you are encountering. If you are renting, have the rental house get the updated SW.

I've found a work-around. waross's trick worked when entering powers because you can either use KVA or MVA units. Using KVA unit lets you put 1500 but not 1,5 MVA...

Problem should be related from us using French keyboard/language, where , and . have a different signification in English and French...

Anyway, my trick is to input a simple dot and hit enter. Software will flag it as an error and let you replace it with a comma, and the associated numbers with it.

I will contact them about that.
