Every time i do a run in Ansys, my Intel i7 processor only works at 12-13%, maximum 19-20%.
When i had a classic single core processor i remember that it was used at 100%. I cannot understand why i cannot exploit my powerfull processor with Ansys. Maybe there is an option in Ansys or Ansys software code cannot exploit quad-core processors yet? Thanks!

You have to pay for the capiblity to fully handle mulitiple core processors. You can contact the VAR where you purchased the software. The last time I looked into it the cost was ~18K plus yearly maintenance fee (HPC Sever). You can use cpu power from other PC's over a network etc. They should have a less expensive package that allows you to use 4 or 8 cores on a stand alone machine. Maybe someone else has better or more up to date information.

In the Ansys Product Launcher are you specifying more than one CPU? If not try 2 or more. I believe special licensing kicks in above that. You have a good machine from the sound of things and may not need it.
