Does anyone here works in refrigeration field?
I used to design air conditioning system , but lately , I self-study refrigeration side.
The problem is that there are no reference project drawings for refrigeration to learn although I read theory books and stuffs. Yesterday , my boss tell me that I have to design supermarket whole HVACR system [dazed].HVAC system is not a problem for me but I have no reference in refrigeration . So , are there anyone can help me for this . Only one plan drawing is enough & I'll be very appreciated. Hope you all have a nice day.

Refrigeration is very different from HVAC.

More power, different refrigerants, higher temperature deltas, critical defrost cycles, heated crankcases, oil traps, oil returns, possible head unloading, and superheat. You need a lot more than a drawing. I don't see this working.

Your best bet is to get every detail you can nailed down and present them to your equipment vendor and get packaged systems from them.

Get a book on Modern Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. The one that I have in mind is written by Althouse, Turnquist and Bracciani copyright by The Goodheart-Wilcox Co.,Inc. In that book it will detail the required temperature to cool and freeze products carried by supermarkets. If I were you I would visit a supermarket and list all equipment and rooms that require some form of cooling for their perishable. For example, Costco buildings will have refrigerated room for vegetables, cooling cases for milk products and freezers for meat and prepared food, and air conditioning for the entire store. The book that I referenced for you will provide all temperature ranges for the various areas that I mentioned above. Among the things that I observed with such large store, the trend was to replace reciprocating compressors with screw compressors and obviously the use of non Freon based refrigerants. This book will also details on sizing refrigeration units and the ducts involved in air distribution. The BJ store in my areas do not use ducts to cool their public spaces but it does have a large air handling unit with air filters( may be more not visible to the public) that air conditions the entire store.
Visiting such store as BJ's, Costco, Home Depot, Walmart and smaller supermarkets will give you a better idea as to the requirements for your project. Also contact equipment manufacturers for guidance.

THANK YOU SO MUCH !you guys are very helpful . I also do know Refrigeration field is very complicated and interesting . DANFOSS REFRIGERATION online learning program helps me a lot . Yesterday , I even went to the nearby supermarket , took a few pictures of display cabinets' nameplates and things like that ( although I could not enter into the compressor room and it such a shame [sad] ). Anyway , I got a lot of information from that . And also double thank to @chicopee ;
I put your recommended book to my first read list in this week . I'm very appreciated for your help.

In the USA a major training organization for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration is call RSES (Refrigeration Service Engineers Society).

Here's the site:
RSES

They offer certifications and excellent training. I know you're probably in Myanmar but check the "TRAINING" pull-down as they may have some web courses that you would find very useful and thorough.

Compressors for our local BJ wholesale store are outside bordering the parking lot. Supermarkets such as Big Y or and Stop&Shop will have their compressors on roofs. Sizing these compressors may be provided if you are lucky to encounter their (i.e. Big Y, Stop&Shop, and other supermarkets) refrigeration companies personnel working on their equipment but you'll have to explain the purpose of your inquiries.

You guys are very helpful.@Keith Cress ; Thanks for your link and I'll check it out. @chicopee ;
I'm in Myanmar and things are a little bit difficult to enter the M&E room of a supermarket if you are not work at there. I envy you guys' country which have a lot of opportunity and open access to higher education.Anyway , Thank you so much again for your help . Hope you guys have a nice day.

By the way , Do you guys have the pdf file of Modern Refrigeration & Air Conditioning 20th / 18th Edition book? I surf the internet yesterday and only got 2004 Edition version.
