The professor said: You have to calculate the bending moments due to the loading. In the elastic method, you need to determine the stress out of the bending moments due by the load.

In case you can also help me with the other questions to verify if I've done them correctly, I would appreciate it. I have some doubts about them. Thank you.

Have you calculated the load ? Show your working.

what do you understand by "elastic" as opposed to "plastic" ?
Elastic analysis limits the stresses in the structure to ... (what?)
Can you explain this is other words, like what happens when the load is removed ?
There is a phrase that you will have heard ... "plane sections remain plane" ... what does this mean in your stress calculation ?

ok !

on the 3rd page, where you're calculating the loads, where do you account for the different factors ? Could be done later, but I'd personally rather see it here ... calculate the unfactored loads, then the factored loads, which you take forward into the calc.

where do you calc the moment ? (I'm sure you've done it, but TLDR)
