Hi guys. I should know the answer to this, but... Do you know if AWWA C200 pipe is dimensionally the same as ASME B36.10 pipe? As best I can tell, C200 does not explicitly say.

C200 incorporates API 5L by reference, but it does not say that dimensions shall comply with 5L, unless I have missed it. 5L is compliant with B36.10, so to me that says yes, by extension, C200 is compliant dimensionally with B36.10 by reference but not explicitly.

What say ye?

Thank you!
Pete

Although it is not explicitly stated, the pipe dimensions complying with B36.10 will also coply with AWWA C 200 . But inverse is not always true. Please look also AWWA MANUAL M11 and AWWA C207-07.
The max. dia for AWWA flange 144 in. while ASME flange 80 in.and pressure limits totally different.
The thickness design of AWWA Pipe depends on internal pressure, fill depth , allowable deflection ..
