From my model, I get that the volume fraction of the figure highlighted in green is 4.6%. Does this look reasonable? I want to get it to 20%, but increasing thickness, length etc of the figure only increases the volume fraction a bit. I am not sure if my model is wrong or if the figure actually is 4.6% as the model has worked correctly before.

Not sure how we're supposed to guess but as a fraction of the 2x2x2 box then yes, 4.6% "looks" right to me.
