Hi all,
I am currently working on a an abaqus project analysing a steel T-Joint.
I am also a bit confused as to why the Plastic strains are lower than the elastic strains,
(for the exact same model and load, except one has not been given Plastic material properties).
surely you'd expect the deformation to be greater in the Plastic case as its higher on the stress strain curve?
Also in the EE results, it seems too look like the steel has yielded??
Many Thanks
Chris
