Door Hinge Matting confusion

Hello guys,
for some reason I keep having problems completing the attached door hinge matting assembly as it's always getting over defined and can't figure out the reason and right way to do it.

any advise?

Remove the Limit Mate from the hinge assy. The Limit Mate should be added in the context of the top level assy.

so what other mates should be added in the top level of an assembly other than the Limite Mate ... is there some sort of reference for this info.

Adding the limit mate at the top level is not a hard and fast rule. It just works for the hinge type cases.

Limit mates have always been temperamental when applied to multiple instances of flexible assys.
