I'm now using 2005 sp0. In 2004 I used to have handles to drag view size (bounding box)which are missing in 2005. Is it possible to change this anymore?

I just found by accident, that if you double click the bounding box of a view, the corners highlight. What does that do for you?

Thanks!

In 05 you can no longer resize the box. They said there was not a need to resize. I liked resizing them, but I got used to it.
To add a dim, balloon, etc in a view... active it by double-clicking on it. Double-click on it again to de-activate.
This is better than adding something to a dwg and SW picks the closest view to attach to.

I never did understand the purpose of re-sizing the view box in SW. In SE you can use it to "clip" the view by dragging box side(s) over the actual view. Anyone know of a useful purpose in SW?

The only purpose I knew of was to incompass all notes/geometry/etc associated with that view. Otherwise they could attach to another view, whichever is closest.
SW just made it easier to activate the view you want, then you can add whatever you want anywhere on the dwg and it will attach to that view.

But you could do that by Locking the view focus or simply by preselecting the view prior to placing a note.
Well, I guess it's a moot point now that SW05 has the double-click function ... that makes more sense.

Yes. But I was told most users do not size the views and either don't care or don't know about proper placement of notes to a view. The new way we will have to get use to.
