I'm currently making inspection drawings, intended for parts to be laid over for checking purposes.
The shapes are fairly basic (rectangles with cutouts, corners missing etc).
Im working from nominal outline drawings, and im trying to have an upper and lower limit on the inspection drawing (+/-1mm). So far i've been offsetting the lines, and then trimming back, but ive got about 60 more drawings to do, and this current method takes ages.
Is there a quicker way? I've tried "dline" function, but this wouldnt go round corners.
im using autocad lt 2005.
Thanks in advance.
