double pole circuit breaker

hello engineers

I have a workshop feeded from diesel generator and i will order a distribution panel and i have a question, shall i use double pole circuit breaker for the single phase loads?

What voltage are you feeding the workshops at? What grounding strategy is employed? Under which jurisdiction? Tell us more about the installation: you could be talking anything from solid-grounded 415V to impedance-grounded 11kV or more. It matters.

Assuming, and it is a big assumption since you didn't give any details, that you are talking 415V or similar, why would you expect to need double pole breakers? Normally the neutral is solidly earthed.
