Doubt in Barron's theory

Is there any accurate value of Rs(radius of smear zone) in Barron's theory of drains?

Well, it's theory, right? Not to put too fine an edge on things, but the smear zone varies due to LOTS of different reasons. There is no such thing as THE answer. (This is true of most geotechnical problems!)
