I downloaded several solidworks SPs and for the first time checked to see if the number of bytes for each of my download files matched the number of bytes shown on the website. None did. I tried redownloading a few with a download manager and still got different file sizes. They are close but not equal. For example, eDrawingsProAll.exe is listed as 7457920 bytes, but I downloaded 7452752 bytes. On the Download Instructions page they say, "Check that each of the files you download is of the correct size. You must re-download if a file size is incorrect." This is why I'm concerned. Anyone know what's up with this?

I have never seen one match to be honest. None of mine ever do and I run them anyway. I never any issues during or after the install. I think running it is a safe bet.

I am going to go out on limb here and guess that the actual file size is going to depend on your particular OS setting. If you are using NTFS or FAT32 File system, your cluster size can change the size a file appears to be. I believe it's only a bunch of computer geek stuff, I wouldn't worry but I am not real doctor, I just watch one on tv. You can do some homework on NTFS and FAT32 file systems and you will understand my guess a little better or perhaps someone else will have a better explanation.
