draft and model viewer NX10

Hi All,

Most of my clients want to measure or check a draft or a model.

I'm looking for a viewer which can open .prt (draft) and .prt (model) and .prt (model&draft)

Can anybody tell me where to download such a viewer ?

Hi,

I think Siemens PLM - NX viewer might be the only product that fulfills those requirements but of course it is not free. We use JT files and pdf´s of the drawings for reviews with customers as jt2go is fairly straightforward and free.

You can also look into xpress view. It is not supported with teamcenter.

thnx guys xpress view says it can open .prt files but actually doesn't ??

Never used it and I could be wrong or something's changed since the thread below was posted - but according to the thread below as well as the Siemens XpresReview page, it's meant to open package files, not NX files directly.

XpresReview can open the following:

2D: .cgm .tif .tiff .dft .dwf .dwg .dxf

3D: .jt .plmxml

Ask your reseller about NX10450 CAM Express Foundation, I got a quote on it to use as a translator/viewer. Not it's intended purpose. but its more functional and the price is nice.
