Draft computation mode

Draft from cone of draft from square? This option is available to PartDesign Draft operation. Something similar is found in GSD - Swept surface - linear - with a draft direction.

Does anybody know anything about the difference between the two?

according to the help files (in Part Design),

the square option can be used to avoid the problem where the draft angle is greater than an inclined neutral face.
